How to Root ASUS ZenFone 4 ZE554KL
Today ZenFoneblog will share How to Root ZenFone 4 ZE554KL with Snapdragon 630 or Snapdragon 660. Unlock bootloader is required for root, installing Custom Recovery or Custom ROM, but it will void the warranty so DWYOR (Do it with your own risks). - TWRP (Download | Mirror )
- Magisk (Download | Mirror)
- SuperSU (Download | Mirror)
How to Root ASUS ZenFone 4 ZE554KL:
- Unlock Bootloader (Manual Tutorial Here) or you can download Auto Unlock (Download) and double click ze554kl_auto_flash_raw.bat (connect zenfone 4 first)
- Turn of device, Enter fastboot mode (Power + Volume up)
- Connect device to PC/laptop and Open command prompt at adb folder (Shift+right click > open command here) then type fastboot boot twrp-3.1.1-0-Z01K-20170901.img
- If you enter the twrp after the failure or adb failure , Please shut down and then use the same way into the twrp, or can also use (enter after each line) fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.1.1-0-Z01K-20170901.img
- Final step is flash Magisk or SuperSU (i'm use Magisk) at TWRP menu choose ADB Sideload then click advanced then slide button. Now type at command promt on your PC: adb sideload Magisk-v14.0.zip
- Reboot, and now your ZenFone 4 ZE554KL is Rooted.
